AN ALLIANCE FOR THE ACCESSIBILITY OF CORSICAN BEACHES
L’histoire entre la société DESCHAMPS et l'association CAP CORSE HANDICAP débuta en 2016 quand nous furent la connaissance, sur le salon SIPHRO de la Grande Motte, de Monsieur Eric Valéry, dirigeant et président actuel de l’association.
From our first meeting, Mr. Valéry was convinced by our commitment and expertise in accessibility and inclusivity, and quickly placed the first orders for our solutions.
En 2020, la mise en place du partenariat Mobi-mat® & CAP CORSE HANDICAP se fait naturellement afin que nous puissions l'aider dans sa mission : impulser une dynamique en faveur de l’égalité des droits et des chances et promouvoir une Corse plus inclusive.
WHAT IS THE MISSION CAP CORSE HANDICAP ASSOCIATION ?
L’association CAP CORSE HANDICAP a pour objectif :
- To bring elderly people and people with disabilities out of isolation ;
- To promote intercommunity links and partnerships (Local Authorities, Regional Health Agencies, Regional Planning Agencies, Tourist Offices, Municipalities, Intercommunal Communities...) ;
- To offer new tourist services ;
- To extend the seasonality of beach services for people with reduced mobility ;
- To control the environmental impact through the acquisition of sustainable equipment.
INSTALLATION OF MOBI-MAT® PRODUCTS IN CORSICA
Depuis près de quatre ans maintenant l'entreprise DESCHAMPS travaille main dans la main avec CAP CORSE HANDICAP afin d’aider les personnes à mobilité réduite à profiter des plages, grâce à l'installation de nos chemins d’accès, Mobi-mat® et de nos fauteuils flottants amphibies, Mobi-chair™.
Our collaboration extends to all levels, from project management to equipment installation on the beaches by Mr. Valéry, as well as after-sales service.
Since 2019, no less than 64 Mobi-mat® access mats and 55 Mobi-chair™ & Tiralo floating amphibious wheelchairs have been installed and available on around thirty Corsican beaches during the summer season.
Robust, environmentally friendly, and removable, our solutions blend perfectly into the natural environment of Corsican beaches.
