Mobi-mat® is proud to unveil its partnership with the TONTOTON organization, which aims to collect and revalue plastic materials destined for the oceans. These Ocean Bound Plastic - OBP are the waste that will eventually end up in the ocean if no one intervenes. Thanks to the commitment of Mobi-mat® and DESCHAMPS, TONTOTON will collect 12 tons (12.000kg) of plastic in the coming months.

Where?
This adventure takes place in Cambodia where significant amounts of plastic waste are scattered in nature. The harvesting action concentrates particularly on the coastal fringe, where plastics are most likely to reach the ocean.
Why?
Mobi-mat® and DESCHAMPS' manufacturing workshop has been located since 1860 on the banks of a river, which we take care of because it leads to the ocean. Today, we are happy to be able to contribute to the preservation and cleaning of other ecosystems around the world, such as this region of Cambodia.

Since 2004, Mobi-mat® and DESCHAMPS has been ISO 14001 certified for its environmental management. This regulation certifies that our production processes, development methods and our general organization are regarding the environment as a stakeholder in the operating cycle.
Since 2021, Mobi-mat® and DESCHAMPS have been labeled ORIGINE FRANCE GARANTIE. This label certifies that the equipment we produce is manufactured on French territory. This choice ensures sourcing from suppliers close to our workshops, and avoids imports of materials from the other side of the planet.
